Ellen Evans is an award-winning filmmaker. Her short films have screened at Sundace, SXSW, Hot Docs, Sheffield Doc Fest and on BBC iPlayer.

In 2017, Ellen was supported by Film Roundhouse as an ‘Emerging Artist’ and in 2018 she was selected for the Indie Training Fund’s ‘Rising Director’s Scheme’. In 2019 she completed her latest film COUNTRY GIRL which was funded by the BFI & Doc Society’s “Made of Truth” Short Program.
